Leicester has seen thousands of new homes being developed in new build developments across the city and as the average sales price continues to rise and Barratt Developments are increasing the number of houses they build in response.
In the final six months of 2017, Barratt Homes, the Coalville based new homes building company who are recognised as the highest quality national homebuilder, built 7’324 new homes (of these, more than 16% were considered affordable), this is 2% more new homes built than in 2016.
The company saw the value of their new-builds soar by 6.5% in 2017 which provides a very positive outlook for the housebuilder for the year ahead. To put it into perspective, if you’re in the market for a new build, you’ll expect to pay a modest sum of around £281’000. The housebuilder has enough land to continue building for more than four years and intend to build a significant number of new homes this year with developments spanning across the country including;
